Location: The cottages are right below the University of Cape Town and only a 10-minute drive from the airport, city centre and the V&A Waterfront. Klipper Road is a fairly busy road.
Rates and Reservations: All cottages are R600,00 per person sharing, with minimum of 2 guests (R900,00 p/p) in the 2-bedroom units. Little Clarkia offers a single rate of R900,00 per night. Single occupation in the bigger cottages is available on request.
A 50% deposit secures the reservation. Full payment is required on arrival, or otherwise before the end of October for all bookings during the months of December and January.
Methods Of Payment: Either Cash or EFT bank deposit. Cash on arrival, or EFT 7 days prior to arrival.
Newlands Cottages
Newlands Cottages consist of an attractively restored, heritage, self-catering cottages in the convenient Newlands/Rondebosch area.
The decorating style of the cottage in Newlands is the “Shabby Chic” style that suits the heritage history of the cottages. Each cottage is as close to the original design as possible with oregan wood floors, original doors, door frames and decorating style. Annie Sloan’s painting techniques have been used to create this look.
General Amenities: The cottages are ideal for three or four individual groups, or for family/friends who want to stay close but still have privacy. Each cottage has a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with ovens, convection ovens, microwaves, toasters, kettles, two- or four-plate gas hobs and full-size fridge/freezers. Towels are provided. Each cottage has WiFi internet connection connected to an inverter during loadshedding.
All cottages have braai/barbecue facilities with portable braai/barbecue and outside table and chairs. Every cottage has a full alarm system with easy remote control access.
All cottages are strictly non-smoking.
